This is quite  the elegant piece with a genuine opal center and larger onyx cross that hangs from an edwardian chatelaine watch brooch. The brooch has a really unusual locking clasp and is probably gold filled. The cross is so fabulous hanging from this because the black just enriches the golden color. The brooch is also silver and it has beautiful Etruscan work on it and it measures 1 ¼” wide. It is signed but all I can make out is Israel. Romantic & Mystical LONG dragon oviline jewel earrings

Legend has it that dragons are a symbol of beauty and power ( as are women) and these facing winged dragons or griffins are quite a fascinating example of that symbolism!Beautiful aren't they? Gypsy HUGE woman butterfly cherub deco necklace

Dripping in filigree, enamel, pearls, rhinestones, facteted glass and Chinese fish and VIctorian butterflies is just the start of this huge and amazing long necklace. The 4 cherubs at the top are the center piece that hold this huge bib drop. Vintage DECO Czech Snuff box & GLASS RING set

I don't think I have ever seen a matching ring that goes with these beautiful old snuff boxes so make sure you don't miss out at the list minute on this treasure! The box is hinged with a faceted green czech glass top ( notice the light coming thru when the lid is open). The old czech ring has a quite sizable stone ( 1") and has a lovely twisted brass band. It will fit up to an 8. The darling little box has fancy etchings on all the sides and it even has a tiny handle on it which looks, in the photos, isn't clear and seems to look as if something is missing, but it is not. BIZARRE vintage jeweled Egyptian revival SCARAB Bracelet

During the aesthetic period and the art deco period creatures were known to adorn jewelry and this one is quite the example of how scarabs were used to enhance   bracelets. This has a HUGE golden glass center stone with open back to show the fiery light thru. On each side are some of the largest scarabs I have seen. They are there to
protect this magnificent faceted  stone and its owner and to let them know that even after all these years they will keep doing their duty.  THis is not a bracelet for the shy by any means, It is really wide (1 1/2") and loaded with layered of fancy metal work. This measures 5 3/4" on the metal band with an additional gap of 1". IT is really well made and as you can see it has no glue because it is soldered and bezeled. Tiny claws hold this 1 1/4" long stone into place. MOst likely it is czech because the color and quality of exceptional. This is one of the widest signed bracelets I have seen that are the expansion type from the deco period. IT has really beautiful raised designs and a golden russian ormolu hue to it. ANtique HUGE carved nouveau GLASS gothic ring

WIth Asian influence this carved glass? ring has a setting that is a whopping 1 1/2" long and 1 1/3" wide. I am not sure if it is carved jade but it looks like it is. This stands off your finger 3/4" and looks almost as if it has a locket compartment under it. I can't find any latches but when you see it you will know what I mean. THis will go up to a 6 1/2 and what is neat about is that the band recends into the ring instead of the the expansion happening on the part that on the back of your finger. The gold has faded a bit but is has a lot of age and other than that is in very good condition. THe stone is really unusual too!

Early 1900's VIctorian Hinged fancy floral bracelet

This is a signed victorian hollow bangle bracelet that is made in a rounded rectangle so it fits well on your wrist without sliding up and down.It is gold filled and has lovely designs on the front of flowers and grill work. This measures 7" long on the inside of the bracelet and almost 1/2: wide. Inside it is marked RC Co and 1/20th. Gentle wear and two bends on the inside are seen with the naked eye. A few minor spots on the oustide show if you really look . Because it is an older piece the gold has not worn down because they used thicker layers in that period. SO when it is on it is quite lovely. I have priced it accordingly.Excellent condition would be about $300.00 and up.

This looks as if it came off Lady Guinevere herself with its medieval metal works and pretty sparkles! There is a beautiful mesh that is overlaid over the metal frame which is like what Whiting and Davis are known for. Antique sterling enamel chatelaine Deco hinged Stamp case

This is an antique solid sterling ( weighs 16 grams) chatelaine stamp case with handle. It measures 2 1/4" long and has beautiful engravings on it. I have not polished it so it looks a bit dark and unkempt, but it is really quite beautiful. This has the holders on the inside for the stamps as well. It has a very slight ding on the back. This has the Elks insignia in enamel with the elk in relief under it. A really neat old case!

Fully Hallmarked SIgned M Rieg renaissance hand wrought brooch

What a treasure this  fully hallmarked Max Regi brooch is!! Max Reig was a Master silversmith at Colonial Williamsburg during the first half of the 20th Century.  He was commissioned and made a pair of 18th century style chandeliers hanging in the St. Bede Catholic Church.   He taught classes in metalwork in Virginia and had a jewelry store in the Post Office building in Williamsburg    In October 1937, the first shops opened. Boone Forge of North Carolina ran a blacksmith shop at the Deane Forge. Kittinger Furniture of Richmond, Virginia, presented a cabinet shop at the Ascough House. Max Reig made and sold pewter and jewelry at the Margaret Hunter Shop during that period. This renaissance heavy gilt brooch is hand forged and has all the hallmarks as well as his  signature. IT has a most unusual mythical creature on one side with a crown on its head ( I think it is a lion of some sort) and a unicorn on the other side. Between them is a key hole with a fleur de lis on the top and bottom. This is a hand crafted heavy well made brooch that is 2 ½“ tall and in excellent condition. Lovely whimsical piece that would be an asset to any collection!.

Vintage Figural Gypsy head jeweled POISON ring

With a figural from the art Nouveau . art deco transitional period on the front of this most unusual ring, you can wear this ring and expect a start of conversations and compliments!. SHe has a purple jewel on her neck and tiny pearls that run down along side of her head. The ring is 1 1/3" long and raises up off of your finger a little over 1/2". The ring has fancy metal work on the back and sides and will fit up to an 8. It has a secret panel on the bottom that the band slides into. Inside the poison ring there is a cherub that protects its inside. The ring is in very good condition and is really unusual and pretty! UNUSUAL BEAUTIFUL Czech Jet & GARNET egyptian  DECO Earrings

RIch antique raised relief drops hold large ( almost 1") cut black jet glass drops. THe 2ct garnets at the top are highly polished and a rich deep red. The garnet accents on the filigree really brings these all together with  the charm and elegance of a time gone by when jewelry needed no words to describe it. THese are not small by far ( 3" long from top of wire to bottom of the jet glass) and are on french wire hooks ( replaced at a later date).
